We’re excited to welcome Jason, our 2025–2026 Social Work Intern from Stony Brook University’s Social Work Program. Jason will begin his internship on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, and will be with us through early May 2026.
Jason is a Bachelor of Social Work student, a Brentwood resident, and someone who knows Central Islip well. He’s bilingual in English and Spanish and brings both professional dedication and a personal connection to the community.
Intern Hours:
- Tuesdays: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM (every other week)
- Wednesdays: 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Patrons can book a one-on-one appointment with Jason by registering through our library calendar—the same way you would register for a program.
